Politicians Lets Fire Them All!
Ok I know that right now we don't have a system in place for that but in todays high tech world we should have a system in place for firing Politicians! Now in the business world if your not doing your job you get fired...ok some jobs will give you a warning so you can get back inline before they fire you and thats fine!
You know some people will say you can't fire politicians and I say why not they work for us, we pay their salaries with our hard earned money and all we ask them to is make our lives better.....We are the government not the politicians and right now our government isn't working well because the politicians aren't do their jobs!
Right now our congress has the lowest approval rating of all time....WHY? Because the two parties are to busy fighting each other! The parties will not work together because they are more worried about who has the power in the government!
When the republicans got the power with bush the democrates refused to work with them to accomplish anything because they didn't want bush to look good in our eyes and it worked some what and they took control of the congress and they still wouldn't work with bush in anyway and you know who loses in the long run.....we do!
But what we have forgotten in this country is that we have the power in this government even though some where through time we just got lazy and let the politicians take control of the government and now its time we americans take back control!
Now if we took control of their pay raises and stoped allowing them to vote in their own pay raises that would be a start. We could also setup a system where if america see's your not working for our best interest we let you know we not happy with you (maybe a poll) and if you don't change your fired and we hold a quick eletion and replace them and then maybe after a while they will get the point if you want to work in politics then you do what we say!
George Washington warned us agianst the party system in his farewell address!
"It serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration....agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one....against another....it opens the door to foreign influence and corruption...thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another."
I truely believe he was right because we see his words at work in the government today!
